Wired up via the Wireless

While the pandemic has brought almost all workplace interactions to a halt, it hasn’t set us back. With digital technologies, we were able to hold our HDB Annual Conference successfully via Workplace by Facebook on 7 May 2021. Through live streaming, we were all wired up for action, and regardless of where they were working from (home, HDB Hub or HDB Branches) close to 2,000 HDB staff were able to tune into the Conference to find out more about HDB’s achievements over the past year and our upcoming plans for the future.

The Conference saw our staff sharing their thoughts candidly and taking part in the event actively with 77 Pigeonhole questions, 208 Workplace comments, as well as 2,300 question votes. It was an engaging and interactive session, for sure!

Our ABC Shows

During the Conference, three interesting videos centred on our ABC guide were shared. Let’s recap these stories

Legal Group brought to the fore the importance of adopting digital solutions to streamline work processes. With the implementation of Robotic Process Automation (RPA), they were able to reduce manual data entry work and enable their staff to spend more time on higher value-added jobs.

BQG capitalised on its structured capability building framework and specialised in-house training programmes to help their staff develop and build up capabilities in project management. This allowed the staff to upskill themselves and accomplish their job competently.

PLG worked together with commercial retailers in the heartland to co-create a solution of mobile apps that helped transform their businesses. The apps allowed the retailers to go digital and improved the retail experience for residents.
